Happy Birthday
Well it seems that it is time for my wife and I to start planning for our annual Anniversary (July 6th) cook-out. The only issue is that there is a Penguicon SMOS dinner at
overthesun 's house on that very same weekend, July 5th. So my dilemma is do we have our annual cook out the day before on the July 4th or do we have it the weekend after to avoid cookout overload. I would consider the weekend before but it is looking like I am going to have to work that weekend, the date of the role-out to our new datacenter at work keeps getting pushed back for one reason or another and it could get pushed again. So everyone please give me a hand with picking a date, should we do the 4th of July or the following weekend (or should I beg and plead w/ Chuck and Rachel to let me have the SMOS at my place).

My new bike (2007 Specialized Rockhopper):

It has everything I wanted in a bike, adjustable front suspension w/ lockout, disk brakes, quick releases on everything, aluminium frame, etc, etc, etc. And since it is last years model I got it on sale with an added discount. Now all I need is a good bike computer and a more comfortable (than the factory) seat. Other than the very uncomfortable factory seat the new bike rides great and has got to be the best bike I have ever owned in my life. Now all I have to do is stick to my very strict riding schedule and maybe just maybe by the end of the summer I will be in a better shape than the round one I am in now. I am also hoping to join
jer_ on some of the rides he is planning on joining this summer, check out his list for the details.
